The spy shots reveal that Mahindra’s S101 is undergoing towing test which all the car makers would do to their new range of vehicles. The earlier spy shots of S101 available all over the web were completely camouflaged with no bumpers or grills being visible. Whereas in the recent spy shots, the components have been painted in the traditional prototype livery, the front bumper and the grill are no longer camouflaged.

S101 is expected to be powered with upcoming range of small engines from Mahindra instead of Quanto’s 1.5-litre 3 cylinder engine. Apart from this, Mahindra’s S101 front bumper would be featured with twin air dam layout; front grill would sport a honeycomb like mesh and an oval where the Mahindra’s logo would be later placed. However the design may still vary since the car is under testing and is expected to make a launch in 2014-2015.
