Kia teases new vehicle ahead of 2012 Chicago Auto Show debut

Later this week, Kia will take the wraps off of its Track’ster Concept that will debut at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. The concept was teased earlier this month.

Kia says that the Track’ster Concept is based on the Soul city car  and ‘displays the distinctive design direction that the Korean manufacturer is taking.’

The Kia Track’ster will hint at a performance version of the Kia Soul.

Only 300 units of Ducati Monster 795 superbikes are on offer for an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakhs. Ducati launched Monster 795 superbike in India last month at a price of Rs.6.99 lakhs but announcements were made practically immediately regarding an Rs.1 lakh drop in price for the first 300 buyers. Increased interest is being shown since the price cut was announced as has been noticed by Ducati's Indian dealers. The bike is imported into Indian from Thailand as completely built units, but this does not entail any additional taxes as the two countries share free trade agreements. So all vehicles imported into India from Thailand entails an import duty of 20% as against 60%, which is what importers of CBUs have to shell out. Ducati Monster 795 has shorter ride height and raised handle bar which ensures better and more comfortable long distance riding. Engine is L Twin air cooled with 87 Bhp peak power and 78 Nm peak torque.
