HMSI – Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, country’s second largest two wheeler manufacturer today launched much the Livo 110cc commuter motorcycle in India at prices starting from Rs. 52,989 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bookings for the Honda Livo have begun at all dealerships.
The Livo is available in two variants – with and with-out disc brake option. It is available in four colours – Athletic Blue Metallic, Black, Pearl Amazing White and Sunset. Honda says the Livo has the highest ground clearance and the longest wheelbase in the segment, the overall design language is quite similar to the CB Unicorn 160.
Built on a diamond frame, the Livo has a telescopic fork front suspension and rear gets spring loaded hydraulic setup. It runs on 18″ alloy wheels with 80/100 section tubeless tyres. Other features on board new Honda Livo includes puncture protection, large instrument dials, viscous air filter, 5-step adjustable rear suspension, clear glass headlamps, maintenance free battery and more.
Under the skin, the Livo is powered by an 110cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that churns out 8.27bhp @ 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 8.63Nm @ 5,500 rpm, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. It is equipped with HET technology that has helped Honda to tune the bike to deliver an ARAI fuel efficiency of 74kmpl and Honda claims that the Livo can attain a top speed of 86 kmph.
