2012 Chevrolet Spark facelift totally-exposed!

2012 Chevrolet Spark facelift

Last-week we reported to our readers that the new Chevrolet Spark facelift is scheduled to launch on 15th of October in India. Now our good friend at IndianAutosBlog has published the images of Spark facelift, how will it look like! And as we said, it has taken inspiration from Chevrolet e-Spark concept which was showcased at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo.

The changes to the exterior includes, new front and rear bumper designs, a prominent grille and air dam, new fog-lamps and a bigger Chevrolet logo. The headlights are carried over from the outgoing model. However, the new Chevrolet Spark facelift won’t get rear-view mirrors integrated indicators that we said earlier and as seen in the concept. Although it gets new rear bumper, the other changes in the rear are unknown at the moment.

On the inside, there is expected to be few changes like new plastic shades and seat fabrics but the interior design will largely remain unchanged. Also the engine specifications would remain unchanged. It will feature a same 62 bhp 1.0-litre petrol SOHC engine. The diesel engine for the Spark is also in talks but will be launched much later. The trial production of the Spark facelift is already commenced on 3rd of September at the Talegaon plant.
