Volkswagen Vento ‘Corporate Edition’
To boost the sales of Vento sedan during this Indian festive season, Volkswagen India has added a “Corporate Edition” accessory pack to the Vento line-up. This Corporate Edition accessory pack consists of 8 accessories worth about Rs. 40,000. The other discounts on the Vento, such as the exchange offer and free insurance may be availed simultaneously by the prospective buyers.
The Corporate Edition accessory pack will be offered free of cost on the Volkswagen Vento 1.6 MPI and 1.6 TDI models. Speaking to a Bangalore-based Volkswagen dealer, Team-BHPian reveals that this accessory pack can be added to all variants (Trendline, Comfortline and Highline) of the Vento 1.6 MPI petrol and the 1.6 TDI diesel models. However, this offer is not applicable on the recently launched Volkswagen Vento TSI.

- Door step garnish
- Mud flaps
- Seat covers
- Window chrome set
The Vento Corporate Edition is available with two engine options, one each of petrol and diesel. Both of these engines are 1.6-litre. The petrol version of Vento is four cylinder, DOHC 1.6-litre engine. It’s capable to produce a peak power of 105 bhp at 5250 rpm with maximum torque output of 153 Nm at 3800 rpm. This engine is mated with a 5-speed manual gear box and a six 6-speed automatic transmission. While the 1.6-litre common rail diesel engine generates a power of 105 bhp at 4400 rpm with massive torque output of 250 nm coming at 1500 rpm. This engine features 5-speed manual gearbox.
