Piaggio Vespa LX125 scooter is not an instant hit in sales market as expected, due to its higher price tag and also being a thin light weight scooter. Due to this the company has took an initiative to introduced an Vespa LX125 scooter available with the two colors (i,e dual-tone) combination in a view of attracting customers towards this 125 cc scooter. However, this dual-tone paint finish is available at the some dealers for an extra price of Rs. 6000/-.
With the expectation of boom the sales, Piaggio India has already announced the price reduction for this class of vehicle couple of weeks ago. Now customers have an option of selecting the desired colors for their Vespa LX125 scooter which are ordered, and then delivered to them. The replaceable panels on this scooter would include central portion of the apron, headlamps, front fender, panel between the footrest and the seat platform and the front dash. But with these changes, the LX125 scooter would reach its old pricing as the impact of which it has not obtained good sales in the market earlier.
