BMW S1000RR turns into Bajaj Pulsar 150
Like in Race 2 movie, where-in baby Lambo turns into shit of car within a split of a second (see the picture at the bottom). The same strategy is used in Yash Raj’s upcoming film ‘Dhoom 3’ in which the BMW S1000RR turns into the modified bike. Yesterday the folks at Rushlane reported Yamaha YZF-R15 becomes a BMW S1000RR in Dhoom 3 movie. Thus, I watched the trailer repeatedly and admitted it to be the modified YZF-R15.
Now only after the Team-BHPhian named ‘crazybiker46’ uploaded the photo of modified bike used for the action scene, all of sudden, I felt hard for me to accept that its a Bajaj Pulsar 150 transformed into Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0 with black and yellow paint job like on BMW S1000RR. Furthermore, the siver color engine with kicker, front disc brake and switchgear on the handle makes us believe that its basically the Bajaj Pulsar 150.
This S1000RR replica gets the yellow wrapped right headlamp of R15, to give it a circular shape as real one, the rear-view mirrors too are different, the bulgy fuel tank with black and yellow additional coatings on the R15, the black colored suspensions of R15 against golden color of S1000RR, the front fairing, the side indicators, and the last one, black colored brake levers of R15 against silver colored levers in S1000RR.
Modified Bajaj Pulsar 150
In the scene, the Uday Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan riding a yellow colored BMW S1000RR superbike. Uday and Abhi continue with their usual roles in the latest Dhoom movie, a superbike rider/agent and a cop respectively. So, in the trailer a particular scene shows them, riding on the same yellow S1000RR BMW and in the next scene this bike becomes something else, which looks more like a Yamaha R15 but is a modified Bajaj Pulsar 150.
They have tried to disguise the Bajaj Pulsar 150 with Yamaha R15 fairings which might have costed less than a 1 lakh rupees compared to the Rs 25 lakh BMW S1000RR sportsbike. May be the producers wanted to save the BMW superbike from risk, and so the modified Bajaj Pulsar 150 disguised as a BMW S1000RR. You can watch the trailer for yourself below, the scene at 1:22 shows BMW superbike and the scene at 1:56 shows a modified Bajaj Pulsar 150.
I personally like the roar of the superbikes in the trailer 😉 .
