The new TVS Max-4R as air cooled, single cylinder, 4 stroke, SOHC engine coupled with a 110cc of displacement. TVS Max-4R is a refreshed version of the popular TVS Max R bike which was phased out in 2005. TVS Max4R is a rural India targeted bike designed to carry large loads. This 110cc powerplant has enough technology to develop a peak power of 8.4 bhp at 7,500 rpm and produces a top torque of 8.3 Nm at 5500 rpm. The less weight of the TVS Max-4R and standard tyres make sure better mileage. It will have a 12 litres of fuel tank. , the TVS Max-4R will clear the traffic easily and take you to your destination comfortably.

Entry-level bikes in India have been loaded with distinctive cosmetic and a few advanced features. And this attracts customer in the first view, technology comes later. So TVS Motors will never compromise either fact. TVS Max-4R is decorated with eye-catching body colour and graphics along with proven technology. TVS Max-4R has body colour fuel tank and side panels.

The headlamp of the bike comes in round shape without a wind shield. As a regular practice, the TVS Max-4R will have a handlebar mounted rear view mirrors and common switches including self start, turn indicator, high and low beam etc. The dashboard of TVS Max-4R is in analogue format. The console will have speedometer, tripmeter, low fuel indicator and fuel gauge.

The commuter bike is known for its comfort and fuel efficiency in India. The TVS Max-4R aims at entry-level bikes of Hero Honda and Bajaj Auto. The TVS Max-4R is fitted with standard suspension and braking system which would ensure comfort and safety of riders respectively. The seat position of TVS Max-4R would be very comfortable. For pillion’s comfort, long grab rail bar, footpegs and footrest will be fitted.

As far as suspension system is concerned, the TVS Max-4R will have telescopic forks at both end. For an entry-level bike which is to be used in city only, these type of standard shockers are sufficient. The TVS Max-4R will provide pretty good riding with support of standard suspensions.

If you use both brakes at the same time, short braking can be done as well. The standard wheelbase of the TVS Max-4R will also assist to balance the bike especially on bad roads.

TVS Max-4R has a spoke rim with 17 inch wheels. It is to be mentioned that nowadays all new commuter bikes in India are coming with alloy wheels that regarded as light weighted and durable. The TVS Max-4R might be loaded with front 2.75×17 and rear 3.00×17 inch.

As TVS targeted Max4R bike for rural India designed to carry large loads it comes with a price tag of Rs 37,600/- (Ex-showroom Delhi) still a good deal.
