TVS Apache RTR 200 4V with built-in SmartXonnect Technology

The new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V with Bluetooth-enabled SmartXonnect mobile application software recently launched by TVS Motor Company. The bike comes equipped with a connected cluster and a chain of gold finish racing.

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V’s Bluetooth-enabled TVS SmartXonnect technology is coupled with the Google Play Store and iOS App Store’s TVS Connect App.  The application has multiple features including Navigation, Race Telemetry, Tour Mode, Lean Angle Mode, Crash Alert and Notification of Call / SMS.

The SmartXonnect TVS features key unique features such as Lean Angle Mode, Race Telemetry and Crash Warning.  While the Lean Angle Mode uses the gyroscopic sensor on the phone to monitor the lean angle of the rider through the corners whereas showing it on the cluster, at the end of each race or trip, the Race Telemetry records and summarizes key data.

Crash Alert System is a key safety feature triggered when the bike experiences a fall. The system enters the crash warning mode and notifies the emergency contacts of the driver with the location of the drop within 180 seconds.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a single-cylinder 197.75cc engine that is connected to a 5-speed gearbox. At 8500 RPM and 18.1 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM, the engine churns 20.5 PS (Carb) of power with dynamic racing-inspired decals along with a stylish fly screen.

The motorcycle (carburetor with Dual Channel ABS), priced at Rs. 1,14,345 (Ex-showroom Delhi), will be available in black and white color range throughout the country starting in October 2019.
