Tata Motors yesterday launched its latest marketing campaign, ‘Nano: Art in Motion’. As part of this campaign, artists will use the Tata Nano as a canvas to paint the car in bright vibrant colors. The first car will be painted by popular artist Ms. Sangeeta Babani from September 14th to 16th 2012 at the Palladium Courtyard of the High Street Phoenix, Mumbai, India.
Tata Nano is looked upon as a fun car and will hence be the focus for this novel venture as Ms Babani transforms it into a work of art which will go a long way in projecting the brand as a cool symbol. Babani will be painting the Nano in her signature style which is an amalgamation of real and abstract using vibrant and fun loving colors.
She will not be alone in this venture and will be assisted by Mr. Anil Dingankar, an upcoming artist. Once completed, the brightly painted Nano will be taken on a tour of Mumbai and with the Ganesh Chaturthi festival round the corner, will make its visit to most of the famous religious event while also do the rounds to various orphanages and schools to spread happiness.
