We expect the new 2019 Maruti Baleno (facelift) prices to rise by up to Rs. 22,000/- more expensive than the current version.

The facelifted 2019 Baleno was spotted for the first time that too completely undisguised. From the spyshots, it is evident that the updated model will get a new bumper and revised grille. It is likely to get smoke-effect headlamps which are also found on the sportier Baleno RS. We won’t be surprised, if there is a subtle change to the rear and to the alloy wheel design.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki offers projector headlamps the top-spec Alpha trim. The reports suggest that this feature is likely to be offered on the lower variants as well. Furthermore, the report reveals that the 2019 Maruti Baleno facelift will go on-sale in February 2019. The updated Baleno might also get a few interior updates as well as new features.

The new Maruti Baleno will be powered by the same set of 1.2-liter K-series petrol engine and the 1.3-liter DDiS (Fiat Multijet) diesel engine. A 5-speed manual transmission is expected to be offered as standard, while the petrol version could get an optional CVT. That said, the diesel engine is likely to get discontinued around the year-end without a replacement.
