Definitely designed for the young in age and young at heart, the KTM 200 Duke is designed and manufactured by Bajaj along with KTM. The bike was espied while on a test run on the Mumbai – Pune highway. Initial pictures show that the bike is definitely designed keeping consumers preferences in mind.
KTM 200 Duke has a sturdier rear tyre giving the bike a more stable appearance. The bike is smaller in construction than but not as small as R15. Front forks are well designed to give it a sporty look. KTM 200 Duke on test was cruising along Pune roads at 70 kmph with the engine giving off a rather unusual sound. The bike is most likely to share its wheelbase with the smaller 125cc version. Power should be about 22-23 bhp and engine is likely to be a 6 speed transmission similar to the 125 cc Duke.
One will need to await official launch to find out details about price and other features. There were no details available as to colors or other details as on date.
