Shahrukh Khan promotes Ra.One on F1 car in the Indian Grand Prix

The 2011 Indian Grand Prix is ready to commence at the end of this month.  Teams are getting set to offer Indian audience a first time experience on Indian soil. Shah Rukh Khan will be promoting the about to be released film Ra.One which is produced by his wife Gauri Khan.  It was announced that Ra.One will be associated with Sahara Force India Formula 1 Team which is owned by both Subroto Roy of Sahara fame and Vijay Mallya.

In fact, at the popular Kaun banega Crorepati show, Shah Rukh Khan confirmed that he recently went for the opening of the Buddh International Circuit. The star does have a box for the 2011 Indian Grand Prix.

Ra.One which sees Shah Rukh Khan in a lead role will be promoted at the F1 events. Shah Rukh Khan or G.One as he is better known as in the movie) posed for an exclusive photo shoot with the team’s racer car VJM04.  It is for the very first time that an Indian movie will be associated with F1 races and have its logo strategically displayed right up in the front of the vehicle.  SRK would also be appearing in a new advertisement on TV aimed at Indians to support to Sahara Force India, the country’s one and only F1 team.
