Honda City Concept

Honda City has been around for some time now, and we are now expecting a mid-life makeover for the car, especially in the wake of increasing competition from new rivals. Automobile blogs based out of Thailand, a hot market for Honda products, have started reporting on the Honda City mild makeover expected to debut by October.

Honda revealed a City concept car two years ago in Australia sporting LED lamps and new wheels (pictured). Inspiration for the City facelift should most likely come from there. It is believed that the facelift version of the new city should get a new set of front and rear bumpers, new alloys, new headlamps and new taillamps. Minor changes to the grille could also be expected.

Inside the cabin, the car will get a new instrument panel, new interior trim, and hopefully a CD player. Engine and transmission will remain unaltered with the existing 1.5-liter petrol mill that drums up 118PS will the same under the City’ hood, Until the 1.5-litre diesel engine that will be launched in the year 2013.
