Royal Enfield Tour of Rajasthan 2011 registration opens

One of the most exciting road trips in India, Royal Enfield Tour of Rajasthan is back! Organized every year by the legendary Indian motorcycle manufacturer, 2011 RE Tour of Rajasthan will kick off on the 9th October 2011 from Jaipur and will end on 18th October 2011. The registration is open currently and entry will be allowed on a first come basis, Only 30 people will be part of this event with registrations priced at Rs. 16,000/-.

The tour of Rajasthan is a tour far off the beaten tracks. It promises to test your grit and build your talent on the famed deserts and ride some of the best tarmac in the country. Ride on routes that few ever ride on, country roads, sand dunes, hills, jungles, highways as good as landing strips, a dry salt lake and all with little or no traffic. Then there’s the border road where yours will be the only vehicle passing through the famous 1971 battle sites.

Accommodation will be on twin sharing. The company will provide bed and breakfast to every rider throughout the trip. Camping will be done on the sand dunes in Jamba and Jodhpur and staying in a heritage castle in Mahansar. Pillions are not allowed on this ride and each rider will have to bring his own bike, the primary eligibility criteria being that you need to possess a Royal Enfield Motorcycle. The cost of Petrol and other meals will be borne by each rider. However in camps and smaller towns, dinner will also be taken care of.
