At the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Ferrari showcased a total of five cars like Ferrari F12berlinetta, Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari 458 Spider and Ferrari FF. However, the biggest story to be buzzing around at the event was the much-anticipated Ferrari Enzo successor and the company decided to share some details and displayed the chassis of the same at the event.
The Enzo’s replacement (codenamed F70) is said to be 20 per cent lighter than the Enzo by 70 kgs, stiffer and more rigid than the previous iteration of the supercar, thanks to the use of the latest carbonfibre technology derived from the firm’s F1 involvement. A more advanced type of carbon fiber was used for the various underbody and structural cross members. A total of four different types of carbon fiber were used.
To even share the details in depth, Ferrari had decided to supplement their Paris Auto Show press statement with a video. Checkout more pictures and video below the jump.
