Now as the launch nears, Maruti Suzuki has started sending the stock of the Maruti XL6 to their wide range of dealership across the country, ahead of its launch today.
The folk at Team wheelZ 14 WhatsApp Group have shared the snaps of the rugged variant of the Maruti Ertiga spotted in Kozhikode, Kerala. This means, the dealerships are likely to start offering test drive to the interested customers very soon. Bookings of the Maruti XL6 have already been commenced, with a payment of Rs. 11,000.
Variant-wise, the XL6 will be on-sale in two trims – Zeta and Alpha. The Zeta is lower trim will come packed with many premium standard features such as captain seats in the middle row, LED fog lamps/headlamps/DRLs, roof rails, cruise control, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Alpha variant will feature some additional bits including leather seats, electrically foldable ORVMs, black alloy wheels, automatic headlamps with follow-me-home function among others.
Under the hood, the Maruti XL6 will have the same K15B 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. As per the brochure, the engine produces 103 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. Transmission options might include a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic.
A total of 6 colors will be on offer – Blue, Khaki, Red, Grey, Silver and White. Undoubtedly, the prices are set to be more expensive than the regular Ertiga at around INR 10-11 lakh (ex-showroom). The Maruti XL6 will retail exclusively through Nexa channel of dealerships.
