Maruti Suzuki, the no. 1 selling car and the largest manufacturer in the Indian market has come up with a mighty blow. Maruti has launched a limited edition Swift RS, featured with an additional body kit and stylish body graphics. This attractive package launched by Maruti Suzuki is available only in VXI (Petrol) and VDI (Diesel) variants and would cost around 24,500 INR additional to the cost of the respective trims. Swift RS is manufactured only in limited numbers and will be available only for a short period.
At the time of introducing the Swift RS, Mr. Manohar Bhat, Vice President (Marketing) Maruti Suzuki India said that “The Swift RS is in continuation of Maruti Suzuki’s celebrations planned around Swift model as it moves towards the “1 million” cumulative sales mark. Swift has cumulatively sold over 9.6 lakh units since its launch in May 2005. We are confident that limited edition Swift RS will be ideal for customers who look to further enhance the sporty character and style of the Swift. All this comes with a much higher value worth than the price customer pays for Swift RS package.”
Coming to the additional features, the exteriors of the limited edition Swift RS will comprise of roof spoiler, signature RS 3-piece body kit including front and rear bumper enrichment, signature theme blue color outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs), black wheel cap, illuminated Swift emblem at the sill of all the four doors. Apart from this, the interiors is featured with combination of black and blue colored art leather upholstery, rally RS theme inspired floor mats, a high-end music system with CD player, AUX-in and USB facility.
