Maruti Suzuki has introduced new Utsav Edition versions of the outdated Alto 800 in the country, this limited edition is basically an accessory kit added to the exteriors as well as interiors of the VXi (O) variant.
Exterior-wise, the Alto 800 Utsav edition gets chrome detailing on the lower lip of the hood, bumpers and tail-lamps, body decals on the sides, ORVM mounted indicators and cover garnish, door seal guard and reverse parking sensors. All other design elements remain identical to the standard model.
Inside, the Alto 800 Utsav edition gets all-black upholstery with red strip, door sill guards, new seat covers, and Maruti has also added reverse parking sensors to the features list. Changes are limited to cosmetic detailing, while mechanically it continues to be powered by the existing petrol engine.
The Alto 800 Utsav edition is priced at Rs 3.94 lakhs, which is Rs 20,000 more than the regular VXi (O) which retails at Rs 3.74 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The authorized-dealership are also offering additional discounts of up to Rs 25,000 along with additional exchange bonus to boost sales during the festive season.
