After the recent launch of Gusto, it looks like Mahindra is actually getting hold of the demands of the customers in the Indian market. Mahindra’s plans of developing a new premium 125cc scooter based on Gusto is already in pipeline and is expected to be launched by the second half of 2015 in the Indian market.

Along with this, new reports available across the web also suggest that Mahindra is also working on a new 150cc performance scooter which would be developed with the help of Peugeot whose 51 percent stake was acquired by Mahindra last year. Mahindra had also imported few Peugeot scooters in the month of November 2014 for R&D and display purposes based on which the new 150cc powered scooters will be developed along with the help of technical expertise from the French manufacture Peugeot.
Although Mahindra has revealed its plans of 150cc scooter, it has not revealed any other information related to features available and the expected time of launch. Mahindra has also made it clear that there won’t be any cross branding and will remain distinct identities even though on sale in the same market.
