For years, everybody had their sights on the KTM 390 Adventure. The motorcycle was finally revealed at EICMA just last-week, after a lot of delay and several spy shots. The Austrian bike maker will introduced the 390 Adventure first in India.
In India, the adventure motorcycle will be launched at the 2019 India Bike Week that will take place on December 6, 2019. While the official reservations are yet to commence, some dealers have already started taking unofficial bookings for the KTM 390 Adventure.
Such dealerships accept Rs. 10,000/- token bookings. It is planned that deliveries of the first lot of 390 Adventure will begin from January 2020. It will be India’s first BS6-compliant KTM to sell.
The bike is powered by a liquid-cooled 373.2cc single-cylinder engine churning 44 HP at 9000 RPM and 37 Nm torque at 7000 RPM. It will send power to rear-wheels via 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.
KTM’s new Adventure motorcycle will be competing with BMW G 310 GS and RE Himalayan in the Indian market.
