The organization has contributed around Rs. 1,000 crore into the undertaking and is going for 90 percent localisation to keep it cost focused. The SUV will be fabricated at the organization’s facility in Chennai. In view of Hyundai’s advanced Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design rationality, the ix25 compact SUV is not a sub-4 meter car.

Instead, it is 4,270mm long, 1,780mm in width and 1,630mm in stature, and accompanies a substantial wheelbase of 2,590mm. We believe the SUV will share its parts with the  Hyundai Elite i20 hatchback and the Verna.

The Hyundai ix25 SUV will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel alternatives, which will be carried forth from the Verna. Like the Verna, the SUV is liable to come in two petrol and two diesel fuel choices: 1.4-liter/1.6-liter petrol & 1.4-liter CRDi/ 1.6-liter CRDi diesel. Both front wheel drive and four-wheel drive renditions will go on-sale right from the word ‘go’. It will be a more of a Duster rival rather than a Scorpio rival.
