Hyundai Elite i20 variant tweaks underway, may get dual-tone colours!

Launched in 2014, a year later in 2015 Hyundai India had made variant-wise feature changes of the Elite i20. Now the anonymous Team-BHPian reports that the Korean car-maker is again working on adding and omitting features from the Elite i20 lineup.

As per the report, the base Era variant will remain unchanged while the Magna variant will be renamed as Magna Executive and will loose features like keyless entry, headlamp escort function and rear parcel tray. The Sportz trim will devoid reverse parking sensors and camera. The Asta trim will also delete automatic headlamps, chrome outside door handles and diamond cut alloy wheels.

The Elite i20 Asta will see an addition of the new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that will support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Mirror Link and rear camera. However, the top-end Asta (O) variant will stay neutral and not receive any changes to the feature list.

Apart from the above feature changes, the Elite i20 will receive a new dual-tone variant based on the Asta variant. This new variant will also get a blackened-out roof with white and red body colours, black interiors with orange inserts and 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
