Previously, we reported that Mahindra 2-wheelers is all-set to launch their flagship motorcycle, Mahindra Mojo 300 this-year itself and its on the final stages of development. Now our good mate at Motoroids has snapped the firstever spy pictures of Mojo 300 on Indian roads. Hence, we expect Mojo 300 to debut sometime in 2013, perhaps in the later part of this-year.
While the motorcycle is yet to be spotted doing the testing in India, this spy pictures indicates the Mojo 300 being transported on a truck that represents the first ever image of this motorcycle seen outdoors. It was spotted by a regular Motoroids reader named Rajiv Lade, the bike was caught when being transported to Mahindra’s testing grounds at Chinchwad, Pune to undergo severe road testing.
This sighting indicates that the bike is being in the final legs of development and looks almost ready for production. The reason for the delay in launch could be that the company wants to give this new machine a perfect launch pad and want to leave no stone unturned, like in the case of Mahindra Stallio 110.
Refresher – Mahindra Mojo 300 will be powered by 292 cc engine, single cylinder-four stroke engine with a 4 valve DOHC head layout producing 25.8 BHP and a peak torque of 24 Nm. The liquid cooled engine runs on a 4 valve, DOHC layout with the fuel injection system from Ducati Energia. The bike comes with a six-speed manual transmission engine and with a kerb weight of 160 Kilograms, is one of the best in class power to weight ratio.
