DSK Motowheels-Hyosung, the Indian wing of the popular Korean bike maker, has launched a limited edition Hyosung GT250R sportsbike christened ‘Signature Edition’ to mark the first anniversary of its Hy Ryders club. Only 50 of these GT250 R Signature Edition will be built, each costing Rs. 2,97,000/- (ex-showroom Pune).
Compared to the regular GT250R, the Signature Edition gets cosmetic changes with a new shade called Hurricane Yellow and some decals. Each bike will carry a signature of its owner. Like the standard bike, the signature edition sports dual disc brakes on the front wheel, an inverted fork front suspension, EFI and adjustable rear sets.
Under the skin, the GT250R Signature Edition is identical to the standard GT250R and uses the same 249cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, V-twin using 4-valves per head and electronic fuel injection technologies. Mated with a six speed gearbox, the engine is capable to churn out 27.6 bhp and 22.07 Nm of torque.
Currently, the GT250R is available in three colour options- White-Red, Silver-Red, Red-Black, all of which looks great, but the special one is that who remains limited. The signature edition of the bike will be available only in the four metro cities and Pune, so if you want to buy this edition, hurry-up and book one fast. The little extra cost decided by the company for this edition is worth to feel special with the limited colour.
