BMW India is getting some good sales volume from its best-selling car model X1 crossover, but only from its diesel variant. As we know, that currently the diesel vehicles rules the luxury car segment and petrol models has been on the lesser side of the demand cycle. Now to claim the petrol market in the luxury segment, the entry level BMW X1 petrol variant is available at an incredible price of Rs. 19.90 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
This unbelievable offer is extended by the Bird Automotive – NCR based BMW India dealer. However this is a limited period deal and buyers can avail this enthralling deal availed only by or on 24th September 2012. It is first time that any BMW model is present in the sub-20 lakh category and this offer is mainly seen as a way to clear the stocks. As the company, is likely to launch the facelift variant of the BMW X1 probably by the end of this year.
Talking about the entry level BMW X1 sDrive 18i petrol variant, it is specifically designed for Indian roads featuring 2.0-liter 4 cylinder petrol unit that is capable to fetch great power of 150Bhp and impressive torque of 200Nm. The engine comes twinned to a six-speed automatic transmission, empowering the dynamic vehicle to attain the 100kmph in 10.5 seconds along with top notch speed of 200kmph. Quite efficient petrol engine of the X1 offers fuel economy of about 11.25kmpl.
