The ŠKODA KODIAQ marks the beginning of ŠKODA’s SUV campaign in India. The All-New KODIAQ will be introduced at an Ex-Showroom (All India) price of INR 34,49,501/- lakhs. The KODIAQ will follow ŠKODA India’s price philosophy of ‘One Nation. One Price’.
With a length of 4.70 m, the 7-seat configuration and the largest boot within its class, the ŠKODA KODIAQ represents the brand’s strengths: a design that is full of character, extraordinary interior space, practical intelligence and innovative technology that can be found in vehicles from higher segments. It will be available in 4 attractive colors of Lava Blue, Quartz Grey, Moon White and Magic Black.
The ŠKODA KODIAQ is impressive: the wide, three-dimensional radiator grille is striking, with its own character. In combination with the narrow raked headlights which flow seamlessly into the radiator grille, with full-LED technology for the first time, the brand’s first large SUV is an unmistakable presence on the road. The side and rear views are also crisp: the doors are athletically shaped and the tailgate is expressively sculpted. The split rear lights with LED technology shine in the ŠKODA-typical C-shape. In the side view, the long wheelbase and short overhangs point to the large interior.
This SUV offers extraordinary interior space. The interior is characterized by dual-tone interior with faux wood trim on the dashboard and door panels. The seats are lined with stone beige upholstery and come with 12-way adjustment for driver and passenger seat. The ŠKODA KODIAQ’s rear seats are extremely versatile: they can be folded in the ratio 40:20:40, can be adjusted by 18 cm to ensure optimum space for passengers in the 2nd and 3rd row, the angle of the backrest is also individually adjustable. For the first time in a ŠKODA, the Power Nap Package and removable boot torch are made available.
The 2.0 TDI 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine produces 148 BHP @ 3,500-4,000 rpm and 340 Nm of peak torque @ 1,750-3,000. Power is sent to all four wheels via the 7-speed automatic gearbox and the Borg Warner on-demand 4×4 system. On average, the engine returns a fuel efficiency of 16.25 KMPL. The KODIAQ accelerates from 0-100 KMPH in 10.1 s and reaches a top speed of up to 192 KMPH. When the KODIAQ is cruising the power is transmitted to the front axle, thus increasing the fuel efficiency. The driver can select from four driving modes – Normal, Eco, Sport and Individual.
The ‘Simply Clever’ features available in the ŠKODA KODIAQ include 3-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, panoramic sunroof, roller blinds for rear windows, door edge protection, umbrella storage compartment, headlamp washers, LED lights under ORVMs, electric opening and closing tail gate, etc. It also comes with hands-free parking, adaptive cruise control and adaptive head lights. Furthermore an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system sits in the centre of the dashboard compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink. It also comes with 575 watts, 10-speaker Canton stereo system.
