Tired of seeing all the teasers for the 2012 Toyota Camry? Well, wait no longer because the new 2012 Camry was just leaked in a French-Canadian Auto Guide magazine surfacing online this week.
The images reveal the new Camry’s sharp front and rear design, and a more sporting interior.
Under the hood, three engines are available. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder produces 169 hp (126 kW / 171 PS) and b226 Nm of torque. It enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9.8 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 190 km/h.
Next up, the hybridized 2.4-liter four-cylinder has a combined output of 187 hp (139 kW / 190 PS) and 270 Nm of torque. This allows the car to run from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and top out at 200 km/h.
Lastly, the 3.5-liter V6 produces 268 hp (200 kW / 272 PS) and 335 Nm of torque. Thanks to the extra power, the sedan sprints from 0-100 km/h in 7.2 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km/h.
Back to home, Toyota will continue importing the new Camry as CBU. Our friends at IndianAutosBlog.com have informed that the new Camry breaks cover around July 2012 in India and prices will not be different compared to the outgoing version.
