As we all know, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL) is trying hard to gain their glory in gearless scooter segment has they rule with SUV market. Late-last year the company launched the revamped version of Duro with DZ badging. Now the news is that Mahindra would be launching an upgrade of Rodeo soon and the new model would be called as Rodeo RZ.
“We are really excited about the upcoming launch of our new scooter – the Rodeo RZ. It is a powerful, high performance scooter that is loaded with a range of exciting unique features. It is sure to be an instant hit amongst young, modern couples who would love riding this zippy, stylish scooter.” says Mr. Viren Popli, Senior V.P. Marketing, Sales and Customer Care, Mahindra Two Wheelers.
A couple of months back, Mahindra Rodeo received mild facelift with a new dual tone colour scheme and now the changes might feature similar to the Duro DZ, which includes the use of telescopic front forks on the suspension front and new instrumentation. A few changes on the facelift version could be expected on the Rodeo RZ, although the scooter already comes with telescopic front forks.
Both the Duro DZ and Rodeo is powered by a similar 125cc engine which produces Max Power of 8Bhp @ 7500rpm and Max Torque9.0 N, @ 5500 rpm. While the new Mahindra Duro DZ is positioned as a solid family scooter, the Mahindra Rodeo with its very innovative, contemporary features is popular amongst young couples. The Flyte is the Indian woman’s two-wheeler of choice.
