Suzuki will be bringing a special edition of their popular 125cc scooter, the Access 125 soon. These limited edition versions will carry a few cosmetic changes, including a new paint scheme. It will be available in a Matte Red shade, which is slated to be launching soon.
Currently, the Access 125 is available in special editions of Metallic Matte Black, Pearl Mirage White and Metallic Sonic Silver. The Matte Red edition was spotted by reader Rishabh Gupta at a Suzuki dealership. It will have an addition of a few features compared to the standard version of the scooter.
These include retro-styled beige leather seats, matte black alloy wheels, chrome rear-view mirrors and a special edition emblem other than the Matte Red paint scheme. It will also come with features such as Combi Braking System (CBS), front disc brakes, a DC socket to charge your phone and Suzuki’s easy start system as standard. The limited edition of the Access 125 will consist of a telescopic suspension at the front and a swing-arm suspension at the rear.
It will employ the same 124cc, four-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine produces 8.7 BHP of power along with 10.2 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 4-speed CVT transmission.
Suzuki are expected to launch the limited edition Access 125 at a premium compared to the standard model. It looks likely that the limited edition of the scooter will cost around the Rs.63,000 to Rs.65,000 mark. Given the Access 125 being a popular choice in its segment, we can expect the special edition to find some takers as well when launched.
