Toyota Etios Liva TRD Sportivo Limited Edition launched at Rs. 5.23 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), to mark the first anniversary of the Etios Liva, launched the Liva TRD Sportivo Limited Edition. Only 1200 such exclusive cars will be available in white and ultramarine blue colours, and will be on sale till October 2012. This Sportivo edition is designed by the Toyota Racing Development (TRD), Japan and has a racing – inspired design. It will be priceed at Rs. 5.23 lakh for petrol and Rs. 6.32 lakh for the diesel model (All prices Ex-Showroom Delhi), the bookings and deliveries for which start today.

At the press release, Toyota revealed the Sportivo Limited edition has been designed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD), Japan. The vehicle is set to make a statement with its racing – inspired design. Liva TRD Sportivo derives its name from its trendy look, designed by TRD, which lends it a young and sporty edge.

The limited edition exterior features include a sporty front lip spoiler, side skirts, smoked-design alloy wheels, two-tone rear spoiler, roof spoiler, racing graphics on the body and a limited edition badging. On the inside, a silver shift knob and new seat fabric with TRD Sportivo logo are the only changes from the regular Liva.

 
Speaking on the occasion of the launch Mr. Hiroshi Nakagawa, Managing Director, TKM, said –

“We are glad to introduce Liva TRD Sportivo Limited Edition, on the occasion of the first anniversary of Etios Liva.  Etios and Etios Liva have been doing well and our vision, to see growing number of Toyota happy customers and Toyota families, is beginning to materialize. We will soon begin the domestic production of engine and transmission in the third quarter of 2012 and early 2013 respectively, at our facility in Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts. We also exported the first batch of Etios series to South Africa in April this year. We thank our customers for their appreciation of Etios and Etios Liva and look forward to their feedback to continuously improve upon the product.”
