Tata Nexon prototype spotted together with Kite 5, Zest

Recently some spy shots of the Tata Nexon prototype, accompanied by the old Zest and the upcoming Kite 5 were shared by Rushlane reader “mutemod” showing the cars parked at an underground parking lot.

As per the reports, the Nexon is currently in the advanced stages of testing. Earlier reports claimed that the final design is awaiting approval from the new CEO and the Chairman. The ET Auto says the launch is scheduled around mid next-year, probably in May-2017, however there is no fix date on the launch of the compact crossover.

This latest spy shots of the Nexon makes us believe that the SUV is almost production ready, and please ignore those ugly dummy round-headlamps it will get replaced by conventional swept-back units on the production version. Expect the Nexon to get launch only after the launched of the Hexa and the Kite 5.

The Tata Kite 5 is the company’s third sub-4m sedan, the outside design is basically a Tata Tiago with a stubby boot. Closer observation of Kite 5 you’ll notice the alloy wheel design is same as that of Tiago, dumping the attractive alloy design which was showcased at the Auto Expo. Also note the rear chrome slat is visibly thicker and different to that of the chrome strip seen at the biennial event.
