Just last-week we reported, Ford India has dropped the Fiesta badge from its Classic and re-christened the model as the Ford Classic. This announcement made by the car manufacturer to solve confusion, because Fiesta Classic was still using the Fiesta badge. So whenever Fiesta owners talk about their car with family and friends, usually the question was raised which Fiesta are you talking about?

Yesterday, the American auto firm has launched new variant ‘Titanium’ to the Classic line-up. The Ford Classic Titanium Petrol and Ford Classic Titanium Diesel are tagged at Rs. 6.86 lakh and Rs. 7.82 lakh (both ex-showroom prices, Delhi). The unique part of this top end variant addition to the array is its 9 class leading features that are segment leading too, while the bonnet aspects remain intact.

The New Ford Classic Titanium comes with 6 new exciting shades alongside 2 year / 100,000 km warranty for after sales. Some features in the exteriors include a new set of alloys, a boot spoiler, body colored ORVMs and a new attractive chrome grille with honeycomb design to provide it modern appearance. On safety front, it is equipped with driver and front passenger airbags, which ensures that you are always inside a safe cocoon. ABS with EBD gives you the assurance that when you want to stop, you will.

On the entertainment front there is audio player that comes incorporated with Bluetooth connectivity for hassle free operation while on the go. Another remarkable feature is speed sensing volume control via this the vehicle automatically adjusts the volume level.

Under the hood, the engines have been kept the same as earlier, 1.6-litre Duratec petrol and 1.4-litre TDCi Duratorq diesel engine. Here, the noteworthy part is the incredible fuel efficiency of 21.27 kmpl with petrol as fuel while 32.38 kmpl with diesel motorized version. Both these mileage numbers are still not certified by ARAI.
