Hyosung ST-E3/EVA electric scooter

According to our good friends at IndianCarsBikes, DSK-Hyosung is planning to sell and develop one of their ranges of electric scooter called ‘ST-E3 EVA’ in India in the years to come. This development would align itself with the Government of India’s National Electric Mobility Mission Plan 2020. The main aim of this plan is to encourage reliable, affordable and efficient 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers electric vehicles in India.

The company’s ST-E3 EVA would inherit retro styling similar to Vespa, but with a electric motor which provides 3.81 bhp of power at 700 rpm. The ST-E3 Eva can be driven upto 3 hours at a constant speed of 30 kmph. In order to accumulate the charge lithium batteries has been provided which may take around 3 hours for a full charge. The scooter is capable of delivering a 100 kilometer range per charge of its lithium ion batteries. This scooter can attain a top speed of 60kmph and has a front disc brake.

Other 2-wheeler manufacturer’s like Mahindra and TVS too are in the race to include an electric vehicle in their product portfolio.
