Bajaj Auto which is one of the largest manufacturers of motorcycle in the Indian market had introduced Pulsar 200 NS back in 2012. The new stylish look and relatively high performance motor had attracted lot of customers towards it but the Eurogrip tyres installed disappointed most of the customers as it did not provide the required grip to handle the high performance engine.

The stock Eurogrip tyres earned a nick name of Euroslip as the social networks and riders forum, websites were flooded with user complain about the poor performance of these tyres. The most suggested and sought to upgrade after buying P200NS was the tyres and most popular choice was the stock Yamaha R15 MRF given tyres, since they matched the exact dimension as Pulsar NS 200 tyres.
Now after obtaining the customers feedback, Bajaj has replaced the Eurogrip tyres with all-new MRF Zapper tyres as default stock. The MRF Zapper tyres are made of a softer compound material to provide good road grip and handling especially around the corners. The Pulsar 200 NS with new set of MRF Zapper tyres has already made way to showroom, thus, expect the new batches to get MRF tyres.

Currently other variants of Pulsar such as 150 and 180 still comes equipped with both Eurogrip and MRF tyres in batches making higher possibility of Bajaj pooling in MRF along with Eurogrip tyres for Pulsar 200 NS as well.
If all the new batches of Pulsar 200 NS are loaded with new set of MRF tyres then we can expect the upcoming fully faired Pulsar 200 SS to also be installed with the same new tyres as it was installed with Eurogrip tyres when it was spotted testing earlier.
