The new Hyundai B-segment SUV will be a global product, aimed to compete directly with the Nissan Juke with unique design on the front adorned by the new cascading grille, and a two-tier headlamp setup resemblance of the Citroens. These are the first spy pictures of the i20-based SUV which started testing in Europe in recent weeks.

The spy shots reveal that the new compact SUV from Hyundai sports some similarities to the Intrado concept showcased at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Although based on the i20 platform (Creta too is based on the same platform), the new Hyundai B-segment SUV will have a new body structure and panelling, unlike the i20 Active.

This is not Hyundai’s upcoming compact SUV for India based on Carlino (HND-14) design concept the will compete with the likes of the Ford EcoSport, Mahindra TUV300, Mahindra NuvoSport, Maruti Vitara Brezza and the yet-to-launch Tata Nexon.
