After the entrance of Harley Davidson and Hyosung bikes in Indian motorcycle market, it is now turn of Britain’s iconic motorcycle manufacturing company Triumph Motorcycle to launch its superbikes in Indian two-wheeler market. After showcasing its wide range of motorcycles in auto expo held in Delhi last month, there are rumors regarding the looks of Triumph Street Triple. According to these rumors, the 2013 version of Triumph Street Triple will carry bug-eyed headlamps with minor external changes.
The 2013 Street Triple gets a brand new underslung exhaust, much like the other street fighters that have been adopting this look. The underslung exhaust is helpful in maintaining body weight to support balance and easy handling while bike riding. Triumph Street Triple is one of the successful flagship of Triumph series of motorcycles which has grabbed the attention of motorcycle lovers across the world with the torque generated by its 3 cylinder engine. However, information regarding the torque generated by 2013 version is not yet revealed by the company and is speculated to be disclosed at the official announcement of motorcycle.
Triumph has just entered the Indian market, with 7 motorcycles from its global motorcycle range. The British brand displayed its wares at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo where it surprised everyone with the price tag it has offered for its motorcycles in India. With ex-showroom price of Rs. 5.75 lakh Triumph Street Triple 675 is second low-priced motorcycle of Triumph series. Other Triumph motorcycles displayed during Auto Expo were Triumph Bonneville, the Triumph Daytona 675, the Triumph Speed Triple, the Triumph Tiger 800XC, the Triumph Storm, and the Triumph Rocket III.
