Surprisingly, our good friend at MotorBeam had reported that Land Rover will launch the all new Range Rover on the 30th of November 2012. The 2013 Range Rover was unveiled couple of months before at the Royal Ballet School in Richmond, London. This is the flagship vehicle in the JLR line-up and is brought to India via the CBU route, which may have been one of the key factors in this rather speedy launch.

The 2013 Range Rover will be brought to India via the CBU route that means, this will also have an impact on the Range Rover’s price. Although the pricing of the all new Range Rover still remains a mystery, sources expect it to be priced to Rs. 1.70 crore. It will be shipped from the new Solihull facility in UK. As the 2013 Range Rover is a great success all across the globe, do expect a huge waiting period.

The upcoming model would be the fourth-generation model of Range Rover and it will be given with an array of improved features. The exteriors of the 2012 Range Rover will be seen with the same outline as the current model, but a little modification done to the front end enhances the luxurious design of this SUV. The rear profile of the car has also been reworked in terms of its tail lamps and rear bumper.

The lot changes are seen inside the cabin. These changes include a new, re-designed steering wheel with biege and brown splashed in. This same beige-brown play is at work in the center console and the conventional gear stick too has been replaced by the more contemporary, risen gear knob and dials. The interiors look like they have been heavily inspired by the new Jaguars and the Range Rover Evoque.

In India, the 2013 Range Rover line-up is speculated to consist of 3 models, the 5.0-litre supercharged petrol, the 4.4-litre TDV8 turbocharged diesel engine and the 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel engine. The company has made use of new aluminum monocoque super structure and this has managed to tone down the weight by a whopping 420kgs. Reducing this weight will allow the car to perform in a much better way and also give an impressive fuel economy.
