Nissan Micra Fashion Edition on-sale in India – 1.2-litre petrol, Rs. 6.09 lakh

Nissan India has launched a limited edition of the Micra for the 2017 model year called ‘Nissan Micra Fashion Edition’ priced at Rs. 6.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and first 500 customers are offered with Benetton gift hampers.

The Micra Fashion Edition was announced recently at the United Colors of Benetton store in Ambience Mall, Gurugram, with the car revealed by Bollywood actress Dia Mirza. The company says it is inspired by the Italian fashion brand – United Colors of Benetton, and is available in two colour options – Fashion Black and Fashion Orange.

This new Micra variant gets body graphics with Micra decals, black wheel covers with orange inserts and stripes on ORVM housings. The cabin is finished in orange with piano black trim, black seats with orange stitching and headrests with Benetton signature. It also gets floor mats to match the theme of the interior.

The Micra Fashion Edition also comes fitted with a 6.2-inch touchscreen AVN and built-in NissanConnect with 3-year free service package. It comes with safety features like driver airbag, ABS with EBD and brake assist as standard, although it misses out on the passenger airbag.

The limited-edition is only available in 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that develops 76 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 104 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed CVT. This limited edition model isn’t offered with a diesel engine. However, it does features the built-in NissanConnect platform with a 3-year free service package.
