Kawasaki KLX 110 on-sale in India – Rs. 2.8 lakh

Kawasaki India has silently launched the KLX 110 motorcycle in the country priced at Rs. 2.8 lakh, but it isn’t road legal and is limited off-road use aka track use.

The Kawasaki KLX 110 is brought to India via the CBU route, thus, doesn’t come cheap. It is a dirt bike designed for children who want to learn and master the art of off-roading on 2-wheelers. With its long travel suspension and automatic clutch, the KLX 110 is the perfect tool for enthusiastic kid bikers.

Underpinning the tiny dirt bike is a steel frame with a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike measures 1560 mm in length, 650 mm in width and 955 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,074 mm seat height of 681 mm and ground clearance of 216 mm. The bike rides on 2.50 x 14 and 3.00 x 12 section tyres at the front and rear respectively.

Powering the KLX 110 is an 112cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine that is mated to 5-speed gearbox with stalling prevention clutch. It has a fuel tank capacity of 3.78 liters and it is expected to deliver a mileage of 80 kmpl. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes all round. The bike is available only in one colour which is lime green.
