Caterham to launch its vehicles in India

Indian automobile market is attracting more cars makers across the globe, Now British sportscar maker Caterham is all set to launch its vehicles in India. Caterham announced its entry into india along with Gaurav Burman an Dabur Group, they are also collaborated with Matt Cummings, a British commercial pilot. Caterham will be launching their car by this week end.

Caterham makes sports cars such as Roadsport 120, Superlight 120, Roadsport 175, Superlight R300 and CSR 175 and the Seven.  Caterham which is now owned by Tony Fernandes who also owns Team Lotus F1. Caterham also plans to encourage motorsports in India. Cars are not manufactured in india instead they will be brought down as CBU from Caterham’s plant in UK, hence the price may not be cheap. But according to predictions made the prices may start around  Rs. 20 lakhs, which will help the company to create a niche in the Indian car market.
