Renault India has expanded the Lodgy Stepway range, which was earlier limited only to the top-end RxZ variant, can now be opted for in 5 variants and 2 states of engine tuning at price starting from Rs. 9.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Lodgy Stepway is now available in both base RxL and top-spec RxZ
The company claims to have given the 16 new features compared to the standard Lodgy – on both inside and outside. Starting from visual enhancements, it comes with new studded front grille, brushed aluminium finish skid plate and fog lamp bezels, Stepway decals, and black plastic cladding around the wheel arches and lower portion of the car, and 16-inch Panache alloy wheels.
There are no enhancements to the interiors and Stepway is available in both 7 & 8 seating options in Gris Fume and Beige Alpaga leather blended upholstery and door sill plates. It gets 2nd and 3rd row smart-sense AC for all 3 rows while the driver’s seat is 8-way adjustable. Noteworthy features include electrically adjustable ORVMs, central locking with keyless entry, headlight turn on reminder, and 12V charging sockets across 3 rows for both drivers and passengers.
Top-spec RxZ features a Satnav-equipped touchscreen infotainment system
The Lodgy Stepway is available in single engine option – 1.5-litre 4-cylinder dCi diesel engine, but in two states of tune. The 85 PS churns 200 Nm of torque and is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission while the 110 PS makes 245 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 85 PS version offers 21.04 kmpl and the 110 PS version returns 19.98 kmpl, as per ARAI tests.
A total of 5 variants are now on offer – RxL 85 PS, RxL 110 PS, RxZ 85 PS, RxZ 110 PS (7-seater) and RxZ 110 PS (8-seater). The Lodgy Stepway is now on-sale in 6 colour options – Pearl White, Moonlight Silver, Planet Grey, Royal Orchid, Slate Grey and Fiery Red – the last two being the new additions.
