Yamaha’s upcoming 250cc sports bike is no secret anymore, having confirmed by top official at the firm for the Indonesian market which currently is being developed in Indonesia. Yamaha is very well known for its innovations and has always been a market leader. Looking at the current trend of naked sports bike Yamaha will very soon launch the 250cc naked bike, although the name of the bike yet to be known. Once the naked version is launched, Yamaha plans to launch the same bike with some cool body styles and fairings.

The 250cc segment is really catching-up the heat in the Indonesian and Indian markets and bike manufacturers like Kawasaki, Honda and Suzuki are already cashing up on this trend. The new 250cc Yamaha will compete directly with the Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Suzuki Inazum 250 and the Honda CBR250R. This new bike is expected to be very good looking and different from the current Yamaha bike. The accurate technical specifications of the new bike are yet to be known. Also, Yamaha has not decided on when the bike will be launched and that brings us to the next question, if the bike will be launched in India?
