Yamaha India to introduce all-new macho automatic scooter by mid-2013

New Yamaha Mio 125cc Xenon scooter

Yamaha Motor India has been very bullish in the Indian market, they are working hard to reach the target of one million mark by 2015. The company has launched the Ray scooter targeted at the fairer sex in September-2012. Now the confirmation comes from AutoCarIndia that, Yamaha India is in the edge of introducing a larger, all-new and macho automatic scooter.

Thus, it is clear the upcoming Yamaha scooter is male oriented and as per the plans, the company is speculated to launch this exciting new scooter by around mid-2013. Although nothing much is known about the scooter, keeping with their DNA, we do expect the new Yamaha scooter to score high on performance as well as handling, proving to make a zippy and attractive scooter option to ride in India.

The upcoming scooter is likely to be powered by an Automatic 125cc, four stroke, air cooled engine, with electric start. The styling of the scooter is likely to take some cues from Ray. This new scooter will look macho as this is being designed for the Men, furthermore, the new Yamaha scooter is expected to come equipped with telescopic fork front suspension, with a features list at par with scooters currently on-sale in India.
