In Germany, the new three-door Volkswagen Up! has already earned first place in its class in recent registrations. Now Volkswagen is raising the bar by releasing the five-door version of the Up!, which will go on sale in European markets in May and is soon expected to be launched in India at an affordable price tag.
It will feature a 1-litre three-cylinder engine capable of churning out 60hp of maximum power. The car comes with new advanced features along with an optional feature of City Emergency Braking System. The major difference noted here when compared to the three-door Up! is the rear-doors which now seems to be more practical.
Options include a portable navigation and infotainment system with touchscreen capability, climate control and hands-free bluetooth.
