Former Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton left his fans in the city in awe as he showcased his skills behind the wheel on his McLaren, the car that won him the 2008 championship.
The British F1 driver scorched the road with his McLaren Mercedes Formula One car, pushing it to speed in excess of 200 km per hour on the Bangalore-Mysore Highway.
Hamilton flew straight to India following the action packed Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday that saw him involved in an on track incident with Ferrari’s Felipe Massa.
His visit is all part of the build-up to India’s first ever Grand Prix that would take place in Greater Noida on October 28.
Despite a disappointing 2011 season, which sees him at the fifth place on the driver’s leader board, Hamilton would be one of the star attractions at the Indian Grand Prix. (See more pictures and video below the jump)
