Maruti Suzuki silently launched the new Ritz earlier this-month, as a temporary alternative to the Maruti Swift that has not limped back to normal production after the recent outage at the Manesar plant. Currently, the new Ritz is only launched in the diesel variant expect the petrol variant to be launched soon. Apart from this, Maruti has also added the new ZDi variant to its line-up.
The new Maruti Ritz is packed with 52 exciting changes such as new front design, new dual tone interiors, new ZDi variant, multi-information display on instrument panel, new audio system with USB, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors and body side moulding. And the ZDi variant also gets Alloy Wheels, Dual Front Air Bags and steering audio controls as standard equipment.
A pleasant delight is the 10% improvement in fuel efficiency from 21.1 kmpl to 23.2 kmpl for the Ritz Diesel, which has been achieved with numerous initiatives by the Company’s engineers. These include use of reduced friction engine and calibration optimization.
Besides this factor, it is the Ritz driving comforts which will also attract buyers while its attractive colors of Mystique Red, Granite Grey and Breeze Blue add to its charm. Its priced at Rs.5.31 lakhs for LDi variant, Rs.5.64 lakhs for VDi variant, Rs.5.82 lakhs for VDi variant with ABS and Rs.6.23 lakhs for top-model ZDi variant (All price ex-showroom Delhi).
