TVS Akula 310 rendered in production form, carbon-fibre fairing considered

We’ve covered the new TVS Akula 310 Concept at the 2016 Auto Expo earlier last-month and almost immediately a few readers raised the question on whether or not carbon-fibre fairing will make into production-spec model.

While at that moment, it was unclear and we didn’t have any confirm reports. Now the folks at Overdrive reports that TVS Motor Company will consider full-on carbon-fibre fairing for the upcoming TVS Akula 310 but for a limited edition run. The publication further confirms that 60 per cent of the concept would make it to production, and if things go as per calculation the bike will be launched by end-2016 or early-2017.

Meanwhile our good friend Shoeb Kalania of IndianAutoBlog has rendered the above production version of the TVS Akula 310, envisioned by him. As told by the TVS’ designers even this rendering stays true to its concept, yet features twin headlamps, shorter windscreen, ironed out fairing panels, a new tailpiece with lesser rake angle, thicker foam for the split seats and a bigger brake light. Also note the front blinkers are integrated into ORVMs and a silencer canister borrowed from the BMW G310R.

The TVS Akula 310 production model is expected to be unveiled around October-2016.
