Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) 3 days earlier launched its first car in hatchback segment ‘Etios Liva’ with a base price of 3.99 lakhs (Ex- showroom, Delhi). Now surprisingly in just 2 days, the Toyota Liva has registered 1,005 bookings from all across the country!
The Etios Liva carries simplicity with elegance and a lot of space on the inside of the car. The Liva offers good quality of Interiors, a reliable engine, Toyota Quality – Q-Class as advertised by Toyota and a no-nonsense package.
Toyota Etios Liva comes with 1197cc naturally aspirated, inline four engine producing 80 BHP and 10.6 kgm of Torque and 5-speed manual transmission. It has 3 years or 100,000 kilometers conditional warranty to cover the car against any kind of manufacturing defects and fuel economy of 18.31kmpl, as per ARAI certificate.
This is a tremendous response for a new launch. As per the top officials from Toyota said, that they so far had received about 15,000 enquiries for the Liva and more are being counted in. The company is expected to sell 40,000 Etios sedans and 20,000 Etios Liva units this fiscal.
Toyota Motors is going to increase the production capacity in India to 210,000 vehicles from 150,000 a year. Waiting periods of the Etios sedan have been reduced to a mere 30 days from the earlier 3-4 months.
