We had reported in our earlier articles that, Tata Motors is working on two new vehicles which they will be showcasing at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo. These two vehicles in question, codenamed the ‘falcon 4’ and ‘falcon 5’ will be the replacements for the Tata Vista and the Tata Manza respectively.

Both the vehicles have been designed with the help of inputs from Tata’s European technical centre, located in the UK and will have very little or nothing at all in common with the current Vista and Manza in terms of design and looks. Based on recent spy shots, the car looks very refreshing and will probably sport projector headlamps.

Ranjit Yadav, head of Tata’s passenger vehicles division has said that, “the Falcon vehicles will be completely new and unlike current Tata cars, they will be performance oriented models”. He also added that “the main focus around these cars would be on driving pleasure and connectivity”. When these two cars will be launched in 2014, they would replace Vista and the Manza completely, the names included. It has been confirmed that Tata will give these ‘Falcon’ cars new names.
